Protect women, children, and our seniors from violent crimes
Through meaningful criminal justice reform — and by not wasting resources on prosecuting non-violent, low-level drug offenses — we can take seriously those criminals who target the most vulnerable Arizonans. This is why I am committed to redirecting resources toward underserved victims. Our criminal justice system routinely ignores the experience of women, seniors, undocumented people, indigenous people, and people of color when they suffer violence. I am running to restore the priorities of this office to these types of crimes. As Maricopa County’s chief prosecutor I will make our streets safer by putting resources towards rehabilitation and restorative justice and addressing the systemic issues that cause recidivism and crime in the first place.
